"I believe that each individual has the right to walk out their own journey and follow their own path to self-discovery. Each of us has a story to tell and struggles to deal with.  It is my joy to help you find ways to process your emotions creatively, and set goals to help you move forward on your journey."  - Gina

Surgical Fashions

When I was an Operating Room nurse I would often scrub in to cases.  I soon found out that I was allergic to latex and that included the elastic in the surgical hats that were provided.  I began to make my own colorful and fun hats to wear while at work.  Soon all my coworkers also wanted fun and seasonal hats.  During the pandemic I sewed over 300 hats and masks for other departments and nurse friends as well as masks for my neighbors.  At the beginning of 2023 I became the owner and creator at Surgical Fashions,  offering 6 different styles of fabric hats and knitted hats for preemie babies to adults.  A small selection of knitted hats can be found on my Etsy store, but most of my knitting and quilting is donated to hospitals or friends.  What I sell on my store helps support the purchase of more yarn and fabric, and hopefully puts a smile on some faces.
